Mary Grebinski was like any other 18-year-old in 2008, she attended college at Sinclair Community College and was making new friends there. Nicholas Rossi reached out to her on MySpace (THE social media at the time for those unfamiliar). Grebinski had no reason to be suspicious. They attended the same school. After chatting online, they decided to meet in real life. They met at a public place, the school cafeteria. Grebinski even brought along a friend. She did everything that women are told to do when meeting people from online.
